Conditional Sentence (TYPE 1)

  • Conditional Sentence Type 1
  • It is called FUTURE CONDITIONAL
  • ( Real Possibility )
  • There is no the real fact

The Pattern/form:

  • If Simple Present Tense, Future Tense. 0r
  • Future Tense, If Simple Present Tense

If Subject + V1 + C, S + will + V1 + C (Verbal Sentence)
If Subject + do/does + not + V1 + C, S + will + not + V1 + C ( Negative Sentence)
(note: both of them not always negative or positive )

If Subject + (is, am, are) + Noun/Adjective/Adverb + C (Nominal Sentence)
If Subject + (is, am, are) + not + Noun/Adjective/Adverb + C (Negative Sentence)

Example:
  1. If I have a new boy friend, I will leave you. or (I will leave you, If I have a new boyfriend)
  2. If He is a dentist, I will love him
  3. If He is not in Germany, She can be happy
  4. If they don't have money, they will hard work
  5. Diego will be sad, If his mother is sick
Sometimes Will can be changed with Can, Must, May, Shall, etc.
