Conditional Sentence (TYPE 2)

  • Present Conditional (Because the real fact is Simple Present Tense)
  • Unreal Possibility (dream)

If Past Tense, Would + V1
  • If Subject + V2 + C, Subject + would + V1 + C
  • If Subject + was/were + Noun/Adjective/Adverb + C, Subject + Would + be +N/Adjective/Adverb + C


Example;

  1. If I got a lottery, I would buy a car.
  2. I would be sad, If he went to his city.
  3. If Bryan was a pilot, his wive would have a plan.
  4. If the cat had school, it would go to school.
  5. If they were dancers, they would have much money.
Real Fact:
  1. I don't get a lottery so I don't buy a car.
  2. He doesn't go to his city so I'm not sad
  3. Bryan isn't a pilot
  4. The cat doesn't have school
  5. They aren't dancers
NOTE:
  • If the conditional sentence is Positive sentence so the Real Fact is Negative Sentence
  • If the conditional sentence is Negative sentence so the Real Fact is Positive sentence
